The Floyd Central Highlanders (Floyds Knobs, IN) softball routed the host Boonville Pioneers (Boonville, IN), 9-4 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Highlanders now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jeffersonville for a Hoosier Hills outing on Monday, April 21.
With the loss, Boonville moves to 4-6 on the season. The Pioneers host Washington (Washington, IN) to encounter the Hatchets in a Pocket outing on Tuesday, April 22. The Hatchets come into the outing with a record of 0-8.
