The Eastmark Firebirds softball squad (Mesa, AZ), 8-6 in Friday's non-league contest with the host Walden Grove Red Wolves (Sahuarita, AZ)

With the triumph, Walden Grove improves its record to 11-8 on the year. The Red Wolves travel to Ironwood Ridge (Tucson, AZ) to face the Nighthawks in a contest on Monday, April 21. The Nighthawks enter the contest with a record of 14-9. Ironwood Ridge won 8-3 in their recent non-league contest against Sahuaro (Tucson, AZ)

The Firebirds now hold a 16-7 record. They play next when they travel to Poston Butte for a 4A East Sky contest on Monday, April 21. Eastmark will face a Broncos squad coming off a 12-2 league win over ALA - Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ). The Broncos record now stands at 16-8.
