Alabama High School Softball - Etowah edges North Sand Mountain

In Friday's non-league match, the host Etowah Blue Devils softball team scored a tight 7-5 victory over the North Sand Mountain Bison.
The Blue Devils (19-17) will now prepare for their match against North Jackson (Stevenson, AL). The Chiefs go into the non-league match with a 10-17 record. In their last match, North Jackson by Madison County (Gurley, AL), 11-0, in a league match.
In their next game, the Bison battle the Geraldine Bulldogs (Geraldine, AL) in a non-league match, on Saturday, April 19. North Sand Mountain will attempt to better on its 13-15 season record. The Bulldogs go into the match with a 15-8 record after their 9-8 non-league win over Sand Rock (Leesburg, AL).
