The Florence Gophers softball squad (Florence, AZ), was routed 9-3 in Friday's non-league contest with the visiting St. Johns Redskins (St. Johns, AZ)

With the triumph, St. Johns improves its record to 17-4 on the year. The Redskins travel to Verrado (Buckeye, AZ) to face the Vipers in a non-league contest on Saturday, April 19. The Vipers enter the contest with a record of 18-4. Verrado lost 7-0 in their recent non-league contest against Flagstaff (Flagstaff, AZ)

The Gophers now hold a 7-12 record. They play next when they host Hayden for a non-league contest on Monday, April 21. Florence will face a Lobos squad coming off a 14-13 league loss to Mogollon (Heber, AZ). The Lobos record now stands at 10-12.
