In Friday's non-league match, the host Moody Blue Devils softball team scored a tight 7-4 win over the Horseshoe Bend Generals.
The Blue Devils (33-8) will now prepare for their match against Benjamin Russell (Alexander City, AL). The Wildcats come into the non-league match with a 14-17 record. In their last match, Benjamin Russell nipped Handley (Roanoke, AL), 6-1, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Generals battle the Central of Clay County Volunteers (Lineville, AL) in a non-league match, on Monday, April 21. Horseshoe Bend will attempt to better on its 20-6 season record.
