The Southeastern Mustangs triumphed over the visiting Jacksonville Golden Eagles softball squad by a count of 12-3 in Friday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Mustangs play the St. Clair County Fighting Saints (Odenville, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 18. Southeastern will attempt to upgrade on its 17-12 season record. The Fighting Saints enter the challenge with a 21-12 record after their 17-1 non-league win over Clay-Chalkville (Pinson, AL).
The Golden Eagles (12-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Pennington (Blountsville, AL). The Tigers enter the non-league challenge with a 1-20 record. In their last challenge, Pennington was routed by Hanceville (Hanceville, AL), 16-4, in a non-league challenge.
