The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Kenton Ridge Cougars (Springfield, OH) and the visiting Pickerington North Panthers (Pickerington, OH), observed Kenton Ridge's softball team notch a victory over Pickerington North by a tally of 12-3.

The Cougars (13-0) will now prepare for their bout against Tecumseh (New Carlisle, OH). The Arrows go into the Central Buckeye - Kenton Trail bout with a 3-7 record. In their last bout, Tecumseh was routed by Tri-County North (Lewisburg, OH), 6-2, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Hillsboro Indians (Hillsboro, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 19. Pickerington North will attempt to advance on its 4-9 season record. The Indians go into the test with a 11-1 record after their 9-7 league win over Miami Trace (Washington Court House, OH).
