The Pontiac Indians softball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Normal University Pioneers to 1 in the Indians non-league win on Friday.

The Indians now possess a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kaneland for a non-league battle on Friday, April 18. Pontiac will confront a Knights team coming off a 8-4 league win over Rochelle (Rochelle, IL). The Knights record now stands at 7-4.
