Ohio High School Softball - Northwestern knocked off by Western Brown

The Western Brown Broncos overwhelmed the host Northwestern Huskies softball squad by a count of 14-2 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Broncos meet the Point Pleasant Big Blacks (Point Pleasant, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 19. Western Brown will attempt to upgrade on its 13-1 season record. The Big Blacks go into the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 4-2 league loss to Fort Frye (Beverly, OH).

The Huskies (7-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Dalton (Dalton, OH). The Bulldogs go into the Wayne County challenge with a 8-5 record. In their last challenge, Dalton toppled Mapleton (Ashland, OH), 12-9, in a non-league challenge.
