The Perkins Pirates triumphed over the host South Central Trojans softball squad by a count of 19-4 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Pirates meet the Clyde Fliers (Clyde, OH) in a Sandusky Bay - Lake challenge, on Wednesday, April 23. Perkins will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record.

The Trojans (1-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Western Reserve (Collins, OH). The Roughriders enter the Firelands challenge with a 2-6 record.
