In Friday's league match, the visiting Purdy Eagles softball team scored a nice 10-0 win over the Wheaton Bulldogs.

The Eagles (10-7) will now prepare for their match against Blue Eye (Blue Eye, MO). The Bulldogs come into the non-league match with a 2-6 record. In their last match, Blue Eye was routed by Hollister (Hollister, MO), 11-10, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Bulldogs confront the Golden City Eagles (Golden City, MO) in a non-league match, on Friday, April 25. Wheaton will attempt to better on its 6-6 season record. The Eagles come into the match with a 0-7 record after their 16-5 non-league loss to Northeast Vernon County (Walker, MO).
