The Villa Park Spartans softball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting San Juan Hills Stallions to 3 in the Spartans non-league win on Friday.

The Spartans now sport a 12-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to La Habra for a Freeway battle on Tuesday, April 22. Villa Park will confront a Highlanders team coming off a 7-3 non-league loss to Gahr (Cerritos, CA). The Highlanders record now stands at 16-7.

With the loss, San Juan Hills moves to 6-11 on the season. The Stallions host Trabuco Hills (Mission Viejo, CA) to confront the Mustangs in a Sea View battle on Tuesday, April 22. The Mustangs come into the battle with a record of 10-12. Trabuco Hills lost 8-4 in their recent non-league battle against Garden Grove (Garden Grove, CA)
