In Saturday's non-league game, the host Howell Vikings baseball team scored a nice 12-2 win over the Nixa Eagles.

The Vikings (14-5) will now prepare for their game against Howell North (St. Charles, MO). The Knights go into the Class 6 District 4 game with a 11-9 record. In their last game, Howell North was overwhelmed by Howell Central (St. Charles, MO), 5-4, in a league game.

Next, the Eagles play the Joplin Eagles (Joplin, MO) in a Class 6 District 6 game, on Monday, April 20. Nixa will attempt to improve on its 14-5 season record. The Eagles go into the game with a 8-4 record after their 8-3 non-league loss to Har-Ber (Springdale, AR).
