The Ludlowe Falcons triumphed over the host St. Bernard Saints softball squad by a count of 13-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Falcons meet the Danbury Hatters (Danbury, CT) in a Fairfield County challenge, on Monday, April 20. Ludlowe will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Hatters enter the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 4-2 non-league loss to Nonnewaug (Woodbury, CT).
The Saints (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Bacon Academy (Colchester, CT). The Bobcats enter the Eastern Connecticut - Medium challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Bacon Academy overcame Griswold (Griswold, CT), 8-1, in a non-league challenge.
