The Union Cougars baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Uintah Utes to 1 in the Cougars non-league victory on Monday.
The Cougars (13-4) will now prepare for their match against Delta (Delta, UT). The Rabbits go into the 3A Region 14 match with a 6-8 record. In their last match, Delta was overwhelmed by Uintah (Vernal, UT), 12-2, in a non-league match.
The Utes (10-8) will now prepare for their match against Delta (Delta, UT). The Rabbits go into the non-league match with a 6-7 record. In their last match, Delta was overwhelmed by Juab (Nephi, UT), 11-3, in a league match.
