In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Belleville West Maroons baseball team scored a tight 8-2 victory over the Granite City Warriors.
The Maroons (4-7) will now prepare for their game against Parkway South (Manchester, MO). The Patriots go into the non-league game with a 9-7 record. In their last game, Parkway South tipped Hazelwood West (Hazelwood, MO), 16-5, in a league game.
The Warriors (6-8) will now prepare for their game against Civic Memorial (Bethalto, IL). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 8-7 record.
