The West Wendover Wolverines baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Non Varsity Opponent to 1 in the Wolverines non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Wolverines (13-5) will now prepare for their match against Silver Stage (Silver Springs, NV). The Nighthawks go into the 2A Northern match with a 4-8 record. In their last match, Silver Stage edged Mineral County (Hawthorne, NV), 13-12, in a non-league match.
The (59-69) will now prepare for their match against Flatirons Academy (Westminster, CO). The Bison go into the 1A District 3 match with a 2-6 record. In their last match, Flatirons Academy was overwhelmed by Denver Christian (Denver, CO), 11-1, in a non-league match.
