Maryland High School Lacrosse - Mater Dei drops to Archbishop Spalding

Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers (Severn, MD) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the visiting Mater Dei Monarchs (Santa Ana, CA), 9-2 in a non-league battle.
The Cavaliers now have a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they host Boys Latin for a MIAA A - Red battle on Friday, April 22. Archbishop Spalding will clash with a Lakers squad coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Severn School (Severna Park, MD). The Lakers record now stands at 7-2.
In their next game, the Monarchs clash with the Mount St. Joseph Gaels (Baltimore, MD) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, April 21. Mater Dei will attempt to move on its 12-2 season record. The Gaels come into the battle with a 4-6 record after their 7-5 league loss to St. Paul's (Brooklandville, MD).
