Chapin Eagles (Chapin, SC) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Oakbrook Prep Knights (Spartanburg, SC), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles confront the River Bluff Gators (Lexington, SC) in a AAAAA Region 5 challenge, on Friday, April 22. Chapin will attempt to better on its 13-3 season record. The Gators enter the challenge with a 13-2 record after their 2-1 league win over Dutch Fork (Irmo, SC).
The Knights now have a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Greenwood Christian for a SCISA AA Region III challenge on Thursday, April 21. Oakbrook Prep will confront a Hawks team coming off a 11-0 non-league win over Abbeville (Abbeville, SC). The Hawks record now stands at 1-2.
