The Hokes Bluff Eagles soccer team scored 8 points and limited the visiting St. Clair County Fighting Saints to 1 in the Eagles non-league victory on Tuesday.
Next, the Eagles face the Glencoe Yellowjackets (Glencoe, AL) in a 1A-3A Region 6 contest, on Friday, April 22. Hokes Bluff will attempt to better on its 9-11 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the contest with a 4-7 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to White Plains (Anniston, AL).
The Fighting Saints now have a 0-16 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ashville for a 4A-5A Area 11 contest on Thursday, April 21. St. Clair County will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Oneonta (Oneonta, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-9.
