Presidio Blue Devils (Presidio, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Anthony Wildcats (Anthony, TX), 17-0 in a league challenge.

The Blue Devils now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Alpine for a 3A Region I District 4 challenge on Friday, April 22. Presidio will face a Bucks squad coming off a 19-8 league win over Kermit (Kermit, TX). The Bucks record now stands at 10-10.

With the loss, Anthony falls to 3-9 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Tornillo (Tornillo, TX) to face the Coyotes in a 3A Region I District 4 challenge on Friday, April 22. The Coyotes enter the challenge with a record of 4-7. Tornillo lost 18-3 in their recent league challenge against Alpine (Alpine, TX)
