Meadowdale Mavericks (Lynnwood, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Cedarcrest Red Wolves (Duvall, WA), 13-8 in a league challenge.

The Mavericks now own a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Monroe for a 2A/3A Wesco challenge on Thursday, April 21. Meadowdale will face a Bearcats squad coming off a 11-1 league win over Stanwood (Stanwood, WA). The Bearcats record now stands at 8-2.

With the loss, Cedarcrest falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Red wolves host Cascade (Everett, WA) to face the Bruins in a 2A/3A Wesco challenge on Thursday, April 21. The Bruins enter the challenge with a record of 7-3. Cascade won 8-6 in their recent league challenge against Marysville Getchell (Marysville, WA)
