The Crab Orchard Trojans (Marion, IL) softball routed the visiting Norris City-Omaha-Enfield Fighting Cardinals (Norris City, IL), 17-2 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Trojans (6-6) will now prepare for their bout against Galatia/Thompsonville (Galatia, IL). The Bearcats go into the Greater Egyptian bout with a 7-8 record. In their last bout, Galatia/Thompsonville notched a victory over Gallatin County (Junction, IL), 17-0, in a league bout.
