Washington High School Softball - Meridian topped by Lynden

The Lynden Lions softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Meridian Trojans to 1 in the Lions league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Lynden moves its record to 5-2 on the year. The Lions travel to Mt. Baker (Deming, WA) to clash with the Mountaineers in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest game on Thursday, April 21. The Mountaineers come into the game with a record of 7-0. Mt. Baker won 15-7 in their recent league game against Sehome (Bellingham, WA)
In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Coupeville Wolves (Coupeville, WA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, April 20. Meridian will attempt to move on its 0-7 season record. The Wolves come into the game with a 10-1 record after their 21-1 league win over LaConner (LaConner, WA).
