Stony Point Tigers (Round Rock, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting McNeil Mavericks (Austin, TX), 13-3 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now sport a 5-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Round Rock for a 6A Region IV District 25 challenge on Friday, April 22. Stony Point will face a Dragons squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Vista Ridge (Cedar Park, TX). The Dragons record now stands at 19-7.

With the loss, McNeil falls to 1-15 on the campaign. The Mavericks travel to Cedar Ridge (Round Rock, TX) to face the Raiders in a 6A Region IV District 25 challenge on Friday, April 22. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 11-7. Cedar Ridge lost 3-2 in their recent league challenge against Round Rock Westwood (Austin, TX)
