Schaumburg Saxons (Schaumburg, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Rolling Meadows Mustangs (Rolling Meadows, IL), 13-0 in a league challenge.

The Saxons now own a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Barrington for a Mid-Suburban West challenge on Wednesday, April 20. Schaumburg will face a Fillies/Broncos squad coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Wauconda (Wauconda, IL). The Fillies/Broncos record now stands at 10-2.

With the loss, Rolling Meadows falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL) to face the Knights in a Mid-Suburban East challenge on Wednesday, April 20. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 5-2. Prospect won 7-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL)
