The Bald Eagle Area Bald Eagles baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Jersey Shore Bulldogs to 1 in the Bald Eagles non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Bald Eagles (8-1) will now prepare for their match against Tyrone (Tyrone, PA). The Golden Eagles go into the Mountain match with a 4-5 record. In their last match, Tyrone gained a win over Hollidaysburg (Hollidaysburg, PA), 3-2, in a league match.
The Bulldogs (2-8) will now prepare for their match against Shikellamy (Sunbury, PA). The Braves go into the Heartland I match with a 3-5 record. In their last match, Shikellamy gained a win over Shamokin Area (Coal Township, PA), 17-4, in a league match.
