In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Emmaus Hornets baseball team scored a tight 7-1 victory over the Easton Area Rovers.
The Hornets (8-5) will now prepare for their game against Allentown Central Catholic (Allentown, PA). The Vikings go into the Eastern Penn - Skyline game with a 5-7 record. In their last game, Allentown Central Catholic was overwhelmed by Liberty (Bethlehem, PA), 10-0, in a league game.
The Rovers (4-7) will now prepare for their game against Pleasant Valley (Brodheadsville, PA). The Bears go into the Eastern Penn - Mountain game with a 8-6 record. In their last game, Pleasant Valley tipped Pocono Mountain West (Pocono Summit, PA), 11-0, in a league game.
