In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Heritage Hurricanes baseball team scored a tight 8-6 victory over the King's Fork Bulldogs.
The Hurricanes (4-5) will now prepare for their game against Gloucester (Gloucester, VA). The Dukes go into the Peninsula game with a 8-1 record. In their last game, Gloucester tipped Heritage (Newport News, VA), 10-0, in a league game.
The Bulldogs (3-5) will now prepare for their game against Hickory (Chesapeake, VA). The Hawks go into the Southeastern game with a 4-7 record. In their last game, Hickory tipped Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA), 15-6, in a league game.
