The Waverly Tigers crushed the visiting Northwest Mohawks baseball team by a count of 14-4 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host Unioto for a non-league bout on Thursday, April 20. Waverly will face a Shermans team coming off a 5-4 league win over Adena (Frankfort, OH). The Shermans record now stands at 9-1.
Next, the Mohawks face the Portsmouth West Senators (West Portsmouth, OH) in a Southern Ohio II bout, on Thursday, April 20. Northwest will attempt to move on its 0-7 season record.
