The Millard South Patriots baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Lincoln Southwest Silver Hawks to 3 in the Patriots non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Patriots (10-4) will now prepare for their match against Elkhorn South (Omaha, NE). The Storm go into the non-league match with a 5-6 record.
The Silver Hawks (16-10) will now prepare for their match against Lincoln Southeast (Lincoln, NE). The Knights go into the match with a 7-13 record. In their last match, Lincoln Southeast was overwhelmed by North Star (Lincoln, NE), 13-3, in a league match.
