In Wednesday's non-league battle, the visiting Philip Simmons Iron Horses soccer squad scored a close 5-0 win over the Berkeley Stags.
The Iron Horses (9-3) will now prepare for their battle against Battery Creek (Beaufort, SC). The Dolphins enter the AAA Region 8 bout with a 11-5 record. In their last bout, Battery Creek was overwhelmed by Philip Simmons (Charleston, SC), 7-1, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Stags confront the Stratford Knights (Goose Creek, SC) in a AAAAA Region 6 bout, on Friday, April 21. Berkeley will attempt to move on its 0-18 season record. The Knights enter the bout with a 7-10 record after their 10-0 league loss to Wando (Mt. Pleasant, SC).
