Marion Wildcats (Marion, IL) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Notre Dame Bulldogs (Cape Girardeau, MO), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats face the Althoff Catholic Crusaders (Belleville, IL) in a South Seven challenge, on Monday, April 24. Marion will attempt to better on its 13-3 season record. The Crusaders enter the challenge with a 10-5 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Belleville East (Belleville, IL).

The Bulldogs now have a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they host Nerinx Hall for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 20. Notre Dame will face a Markers team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Columbia (Columbia, IL). The Markers record now stands at 9-1.
