Rock Island Rocks (Rock Island, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Orion Chargers (Orion, IL), 14-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Rocks now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Minooka for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 6.

With the loss, Orion falls to 0-11 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Riverdale (Port Byron, IL) to face the Rams in a challenge on Thursday, April 20. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 5-4. Riverdale won 28-4 in their recent league challenge against Orion (Orion, IL)
