California High School Lacrosse - Rancho Cotate drops to University

April 19, 2023: San Francisco, CA 94115

University Red Devils (San Francisco, CA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the visiting Rancho Cotate Cougars (Rohnert Park, CA), 9-4 in a non-league battle.

The Red Devils now have a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they host Marin Academy for a Bay Counties battle on Friday, April 21. University will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 13-4 league win over Stuart Hall (San Francisco, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-3.

In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Vintage Crushers (Napa, CA) in a Vine Valley battle, on Thursday, April 20. Rancho Cotate will attempt to move on its 9-6 season record. The Crushers come into the battle with a 11-3 record after their 15-5 league win over Sonoma Valley (Sonoma, CA).
