In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Academy of Our Lady Penguins (Marrero, LA) softball team overwhelmed the host Bunkie Panthers (Bunkie, LA), by a margin of 19-4.
With the triumph, Academy of Our Lady moves its record to 7-9 on the year. The Penguins travel to Archbishop Hannan (Covington, LA) to play the Hawks in a non-league contest on Saturday, April 22. The Hawks come into the contest with a record of 10-10. Archbishop Hannan won 13-0 in their recent non-league contest against Lafayette Christian Academy (Lafayette, LA)
