In Wednesday's league contest, the Bremen Lions (Bremen, IN) softball team overwhelmed the host Glenn Falcons (Walkerton, IN), by a margin of 16-4.
With the triumph, Bremen moves its record to 3-5 on the year. The Lions travel to South Bend St. Joseph (South Bend, IN) to play the Indians in a Northern Indiana contest on Monday, April 24. The Indians come into the contest with a record of 7-0.

After a cool weekend, the temperatures finally reached the mid 70s on Wed in Walkerton & the Lady Lion bats followed suite belting 13 hits, including 2 home runs, 2 doubles & a triple. Ten of 11 Lion hitters had hits with Mickie Shively leading the way with two Grand Slams & a triple tallying a season high 9 RBI.
