In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Shelton Highclimbers (Shelton, WA) softball squad routed the visiting Bremerton Knights (Bremerton, WA), by a count of 11-1.

The Highclimbers (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against Centralia (Centralia, WA). The Tigers go into the 2A Evergreen battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Centralia was routed by Black Hills (Tumwater, WA), 5-4, in a league battle.

The Knights now sport a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Port Angeles for a 2A Olympic battle on Thursday, April 20. Bremerton will meet a Roughriders squad coming off a 7-6 league loss to Sequim (Sequim, WA). The Roughriders record now stands at 4-1.
