The West Iredell Warriors softball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Bunker Hill Bears to 0 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, West Iredell moves its record to 4-7 on the year. The Warriors travel to East Lincoln (Denver, NC) to play the Mustangs in a Western Foothills 3A game on Friday, April 21. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 12-1. East Lincoln won 15-0 in their recent league game against Statesville (Statesville, NC)

In their next game, the Bears play the Maiden Blue Devils (Maiden, NC) in a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A game, on Friday, April 21. Bunker Hill will attempt to move on its 3-11 season record. The Blue Devils come into the game with a 14-2 record after their 8-7 league loss to Bandys (Catawba, NC).
