Pennsylvania High School Softball - Marion Center bounces Cambria Heights

April 19, 2023: Marion Center, PA 15759

Spectators at Wednesday's league match between the Marion Center Stingers (Marion Center, PA) and the visiting Cambria Heights Highlanders (Patton, PA), witnessed Marion Center's softball squad tip Cambria Heights by a count of 7-2.

The Stingers now sport a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to DuBois Central Catholic for a non-league match on Monday, April 24. Marion Center will meet a Cardinals squad coming off a 12-3 non-league win over Cranberry Area (Seneca, PA). The Cardinals record now stands at 10-0.

With the loss, Cambria Heights moves to 6-3 on the season. The Highlanders host United (Armagh, PA) to meet the Lions in a Heritage match on Thursday, April 20. The Lions go into the match with a record of 4-3. United lost 9-6 in their recent league match against River Valley (Blairsville, PA)
