The Catholic of Pointe Coupee Hornets softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Highland Baptist Christian Bears to 0 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Catholic of Pointe Coupee moves its record to 17-8 on the year. The Hornets travel to Central Catholic (Morgan City, LA) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league game on Saturday, April 22. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 13-8.
