The Marple Newtown Fightin' Tigers (Newtown Square, PA) softball routed the visiting Chichester Eagles (Boothwyn, PA), 13-2 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Fightin' Tigers (1-4) will now prepare for their bout against Garnet Valley (Glen Mills, PA). The Jaguars go into the Central bout with a 4-0 record.

The Eagles now possess a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Academy Park for a Delaware Valley bout on Thursday, April 20. Chichester will confront a Knights squad coming off a 19-0 league loss to Interboro (Prospect Park, PA). The Knights record now stands at 0-1.
