The Clinton Dragons (Clinton, TN) softball routed the visiting Oak Ridge Wildcats (Oak Ridge, TN), 17-2 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Dragons (15-6) will now prepare for their bout against Bearden (Knoxville, TN). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 5-10 record. In their last bout, Bearden was routed by William Blount (Maryville, TN), 5-4, in a league bout.

The Wildcats now possess a 3-12 record. They play next when they travel to Oliver Springs for a non-league bout on Thursday, April 20. Oak Ridge will confront a Bobcats squad coming off a 13-1 league win over Sunbright (Sunbright, TN). The Bobcats record now stands at 10-5.
