The crowd at Wednesday's non-league match between the Eastmark Firebirds (Mesa, AZ) and the visiting Tempe Buffaloes (Tempe, AZ), saw Eastmark's softball squad achieve victory over Tempe by a count of 18-0.

The Firebirds now sport a 20-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to American Leadership Academy - Gilbert North for a 4A East Sky match on Thursday, April 20. Eastmark will face a Eagles squad coming off a 6-1 league loss to Arizona College Prep (Chandler, AZ). The Eagles record now stands at 17-5.

With the loss, Tempe falls to 8-12 on the campaign. The Buffaloes host Apache Junction (Apache Junction, AZ) to face the Prospectors in a 4A Black Canyon match on Thursday, April 20. The Prospectors enter the match with a record of 8-6. Apache Junction lost 20-4 in their recent league match against Vista Grande (Casa Grande, AZ)
