The Riverbend Bears softball team (Fredericksburg, VA), was routed 4-1 in Wednesday's non-league test with the visiting Hanover Hawks (Mechanicsville, VA)

Coming up next, the Hawks encounter the Mechanicsville Mustangs (Mechanicsville, VA) in a Capital test, on Friday, April 21. Hanover will attempt to improve on its 10-0 season record. The Mustangs come into the test with a 5-7 record after their 11-3 non-league win over Hermitage (Richmond, VA).

The Bears (7-6) will now prepare for their test against Massaponax (Spotsylvania, VA). The Panthers come into the Commonwealth test with a 1-10 record. In their last test, Massaponax was routed by North Stafford (Stafford, VA), 11-7, in a league test.
