In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Shawnee Indians (Lima, OH) softball team held off the visiting Jefferson Wildcats (Delphos, OH), by a margin of 10-9.
With the triumph, Shawnee moves its record to 1-9 on the year. The Indians travel to Kenton (Kenton, OH) to play the Wildcats in a Western Buckeye contest on Thursday, April 20. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 2-7. Kenton lost 12-2 in their recent league contest against Celina (Celina, OH)
In their next game, the Wildcats play the Ada Bulldogs (Ada, OH) in a Northwest contest, on Thursday, April 20. Jefferson will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 6-0 record after their 7-3 league win over Allen East (Harrod, OH).
