Keshequa Indians (Nunda, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Letchworth Indians (Gainesville, NY), 7-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Indians now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southside for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 22. Keshequa will battle a Green Hornets squad coming off a 13-0 non-league win over Binghamton (Binghamton, NY). The Green Hornets record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Letchworth falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Aquinas Institute (Rochester, NY) to battle the Little Irish in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 20. The Little Irish enter the challenge with a record of 2-1. Aquinas Institute won 15-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Northstar Christian Academy (Rochester, NY)
