Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Meigs Marauders (Pomeroy, OH) and the visiting Marietta Tigers (Marietta, OH), witnessed Meigs's softball squad prevail over Marietta by a count of 20-1.

The Marauders now sport a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to Athens for a Tri-Valley - Ohio match on Friday, April 21. Meigs will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 13-0 non-league win over Waterford (Waterford, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 15-0.

With the loss, Marietta moves to 0-13 on the season. The Tigers travel to Point Pleasant (Point Pleasant, WV) to meet the Big Blacks in a non-league match on Thursday, April 20. The Big Blacks go into the match with a record of 5-5. Point Pleasant won 14-5 in their recent non-league match against Fort Frye (Beverly, OH)
