Peoria Christian Chargers (Peoria, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Midland Timberwolves (Varna, IL), 13-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Chargers now own a 3-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Illini Bluffs for a Inter County challenge on Tuesday, April 25. Peoria Christian will face a Tigers squad coming off a 8-3 non-league loss to Brimfield (Brimfield, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 10-3.

With the loss, Midland falls to 0-14 on the campaign. The Timberwolves host Henry-Senachwine (Henry, IL) to face the Mallards in a Tri-County challenge on Thursday, April 20. The Mallards enter the challenge with a record of 2-6. Henry-Senachwine lost 3-2 in their recent non-league challenge against ROWVA/Williamsfield (Oneida, IL)
