North Carolina High School Softball - South Stokes bounces Surry Central

April 19, 2023: Walnut Cove, NC 27052

The South Stokes Sauras routed the visiting Surry Central Golden Eagles softball squad by a final score of 14-2 in Wednesday's non-league battle.

The Sauras (15-1) will now prepare for their battle against Starmount (Boonville, NC). The Rams go into the Northwest 1A battle with a 7-9 record. In their last battle, Starmount was routed by Elkin (Elkin, NC), 4-1, in a league battle.

The Golden Eagles now possess a 6-8 record. They play next when they host East Surry for a Foothills 2A battle on Friday, April 21. Surry Central will meet a Cardinals squad coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Elkin (Elkin, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 10-7.
